Requirements to use CoreComm Internet

• A computer with a modern operating system (we support Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT, & 2000, Macintosh with MacOS 7.6 or later, WebTV, OS/2, and RedHat Linux 5.2 or later)
   
• A properly installed modem (comes standard on most computers made within the last 6 years)
   
• A telephone line
   
• Software to make a dial-up connection (comes built-in with Windows 95 or later, MacOS 8.0 or later, OS/2, and Linux)
   
• A Web browser (Internet Explorer 3.02 or later, or Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later)

And if you don't have the appropriate software, we can send it to you if you have Windows or a recent Macintosh computer.

*The only restriction on the unlimited access is that we ask that you not leave your computer connected for more than 24 hours at a time.  You can be connected as long as you're using the connection, but we do ask that you disconnect while you're not using your account.

** Actual connection speeds may vary from call to call and person to person.  The rate you connect at is determined each time you connect to our service, and is depended on a variety of line conditions ranging from the wiring in your home to the quality of the telephone lines serving your house or building.
